Youth Protection Training UPDATE!

It is official, the current 2018 Online Youth Protection Training meets state requirements and has been approved by the State of Texas.

If you have completed the new BSA online Youth Protection Training course on or after March 13, 2018, you no longer need to take a classroom-facilitated version of the course to attend a licensed camp (camps of four or more days).

If you have not taken the new BSA online Youth Protection Training course, you must do so by October 1, 2018 or you won’t be able to re-charter with your unit.

To kick off the year, Mustang is offering Cub Scout Leader Specific Training.

This training along with your Youth Protection Training will earn you the 'Trained' patch that you can wear with pride and the knowledge that you have prepared yourself to lead Cubs. It is particularyl essential for new cub leaders who are in need of any sort of guidance.

The cost is amere $5!!! REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2014! Flier/registration form is attached.

Scout Leader Specific and Introduction to Outdoor Skills

ATTENTION: All Boy Scout and Webelos Leaders

Mustang District will be presenting Scout Leader and Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills on October 10-12, 2014. The training will be held at Pecan Lake Ranch, Edom, TX. It will start at 7 pm on Friday night and conclude around noon on Sunday. To be trained, participant must attend the entire weekend.

More information is available in the attached flier/registration form. Registration form must be mailed in with payment by October 3rd!

Roundtable

Roundtables play a significant role in providing continuous supplemental training for unit leaders. This monthly event provides program topic guidance and structure suggestions for unit leaders.
